Bold BBQ sauces, flavor-packed spice blends, dark russet potato chips and craft beef jerky make up Stuart & Co.’s diverse range of products. Starting out as a boutique catering company and expanding into a small-batch artisanal brand, Stuart & Co. has kept the great food that made them famous while continuing to innovate to bring fresh and delicious flavors to market.
Michael has discovered each of his amazing new products from the sheer love of experimenting. When he created his first sauce Bitchin’ BBQ as well as his house rub, now named for his daughter, he packed them in beautiful and reusable Weck jars. The products were an immediate hit and Stuart & Co.’s product line quickly began to grow. Two more sauces and four more blends soon followed. His recent innovation of his homemade russet potato chips began as a sampling vehicle for his sauces. As customers began clamoring for them to be sold, Michael took his childhood love of Eagle Brand dark russet chips and toyed in the kitchen until he created a new line that rivaled if not surpassed the joyful crunch of his childhood. His all-natural jerky was again a happy accident, not initially intended for sale. During a weekend of BBQ competition prep at his brothers lake house in Pennsylvania, Michael and his brother Eric made a few batches of beef jerky on the smoker. Realizing the result was too good not to pass along, his line of jerky was created.
